The AYN Odin Pro is my go-to premium retro handheld. This device is amazing at handling retro consoles, from the NES to the 3DO up to the Nintendo Game Cube. The Odin feels great in the hand, screen and controls are well made. My favorite retro handheld overall.
The last few days I have been going through some of the Atari Jaguar library on the device and decided to show off some screenshots from my experiences. Each game ran great, controls worked well, no problems experienced.

Crystal Dynamics’ Gex came first to the 3DO in April of 1995, going on to become one of the best selling 3DO games of all time. The wisecracking gecko, Gex, plays great with the Retroid Pocket 2+, as well as many other 3DO titles.

All three games tested, BC Racers, Johnny Bazookatone, and Seal of the Pharaoh ran well on the Retroid Pocket 2+. Last year’s model, the Retroid Pocket 2, was my favorite retro handheld of 2020/2021 and this year’s upgrade, the 2+, is definitely one of my favorites of 2021/2022.
In addition to being capable of handling the 3DO, this handheld can also play up to Game Cube titles, streaming services such as Xbox Game Pass and Google Stadia, as well as Android games.
I’ve been keeping busy this week with the PowKiddy X39 and had a couple of people ask some questions about the device, so I decided to show off some Sega Genesis (Mega Drive) gameplay on the device.
